Make Kim Chi

Recipe ~
1 White Cabbage
4 Spring Onions
1 Carrot
1 piece of Ginger
1 small bowl of Chilly Paste
1 bundle of Garlic
4 table spoon of Salt (to taste)
1 table spoon of Sugar (to taste)
1 table spoon of Prawn Paste or Cuttle Fish Paste
or Chilly padi

Method ~
Wash the White Cabbage.  Cut them into 2cm x 2cm.
Wash the Carrot.  Cut the carrot into long strips of 2cm
Wash the Spring Onions.  Cut them into 2cm.
Wash the Ginger and cut the ginger into thin slices of 2cm.

Marinate the white cabbage, carrot, spring onion, ginger in a big container with 
salt for 6 hours.  After 6 hours add sugar.  Two hours later pour out half of the water produced in the container.  Add prawn paste, chilly paste, garlic.
Store all the ingredient in a closely tight jar for three days.  If you like spicy Kim Chi, you may add Chilly padi or more Chilly paste.

You can now enjoy the Kim Chi as side dish or use them to cook Korean Kim Chi Jigae with tofu, fish, meat, seaweed.  You may eat it with short grain rice 
or brown rice.  Kim Chi pancake, California Roll with Kim Chi, Bulgogi, Barbeque meat with Kim Chi.







Contain high calcium, good for digestion, appetizer, added side dish and so forth. 

In the market in Malaysia, a tub of 250gm of Korean Kim Chi is sold price range from RM8 to RM12.
